Hello Jose,
at first a bigger change of water ( 70% ).
That is the best you can do by any problems.
Than we need more information. Please post as much as you know.
How big is your tank, what filter do you use, what plants are inside, any changes in the tank at last time, new plants or decoration and so on.
But first change the water. That is the most important thing you could do.
Could it be a oxygenic problem? When the shrimps died at night is it possible. |

Hi!
I just want to add something to christians post; I've had some problems with my cherry when the ph transcents the mark of 8.0; lesser ph seams to fit them more!

| I'm not sure what kind of substrate you are using but if your having trouble with your ph I would suggest adding some crushed coral. It has at least two benefits. First it helps to keep your ph levels stabilized and second it adds calcium to the water which is very beneficial to the growth and developement of the shrimp. I add a handful to each of my tanks every couple of weeks. Here in the states it can be bought for about $1 per pound and can be found at any local fish store. |

Hi!
that's right, but to my knowledge it also increases the hardeness of your water; if you need soft water, that's not an option! of course red cherry can be keept at a variety of conditions, but to my knowledge, they don't responde well to very hard water!

Hello Jose,
what about the age of the Cherries? They live only 2 years max.
Maybe some changings in the tank during the last two weeks, some new plants, rocks or roots ? Some unnormal reactions?????
Cu
