Hi,

even I sometimes can´t resist buying spontaneous. I went to my favorite pet shop to get 2 more hillstream loaches but they were still in quarantine. As I have good contact to the people there one of them showed me some other fish and shrimps they´d just got. In one of the tanks they had Macrobrachium kulsiense (formerly known as M.cf. mirabile) "Snowflake or Pearl" shrimp. But one of these was/is different. On first sight it just looked bigger than the others,but looking closely it isn´t M. kulsiense because of the different Rostrum,it was just caught with them.It´s definite no M.assamense or M. dayanum. Maybe you could tell me what it is.It must be from north India from a river that flows into the Brahmaputra as M.kulsiense (Kulsie River) does.Sofar it´s 3,8cm long (Rostrum-Telson)

still haven´t got a clue and it´s not very interested in gettig photographed,so I guess I have to wait for a better picture an then I´ll contact Werner .
