Hi there.
I would like to keep a pair of those shrimps. There are some in the shop by the corner. But do you know how to distinguish males from females ?
I heard the males have bigger claws. Have anyone come across a M.L. males? I would be greatful for a picture.

Also, have anyone tried keeping them with "Red Cherries" ? I had two females once. I kept them with Caridina cf. babaulti , and they were alright. M.L. have quite a character is a bit territorial. But I have never seen them attacking shrimps of different species. They do seems to scare-off other M.L. with the claws though.

And lastly, have anybody suceed in breeding them ? I have seen some guy from Sweden showing photos of the fry. But most of it died and he said it's extremaly difficult. Another guy told me that they breed easily in community tanks but you have to add some salt into it.
