| My parents and my friend both keep their Crayfish in a large fish bowl With a large rock so it can come out of the water. Seens to do well. Do you know if its safe? My parents have had theirs for about a year so I'm assuming its ok. |

| Its not unusual that crayfish like to discover whats outside of the fishbowl. Especially if they dont have enough or the right food. Sometimes the fishbowl is to small (to many crayfish in one bowl) and the try to find a nicer place. Or they dont like the water conditions. And sometimes they just went with out a reason. |

My new batch are doing well. I did loose some from fighting.
About a year ago I gave 4 away to 3 friends and 1 to my parents. The 2 separate friends that had theirs in a tank died though. |

I have 4 males and 2 female adults. And about 15 Babies but I never have more than 6 survive so I've decided next time I'm going to separate each baby into a tuperwear container until they become adult. well at least 10 of them.
this is my other post http://www.crustaforum.com/topic,349,-redclaw-babies-attack-each-other.html
They breed every year. I tried putting one baby from last year in with the Adults and they didn't hurt it at all, she's adult now.
Here are pix of 2 of my males. my females are both bluey grey colour and 2 males. And the other 2 males are light blue colour. Another thing I want to do is start select breeding so I can get more light blue ones, if that is possible??? None o the babies have been that colour yet.
