Some of my favorite Cana pictures.
This is one of my Canas laying eggs on the side of the tank.
Here's a Cana "swimming".
Canas fighting for food.
Cana eggs hatching. Sorry it's blurry. The dark spots are tiny snails that have hatched. You can see several crawling away in search of water. These baby snails are not much bigger then the tip of a pencil.

Hi!
you've got some realy beautiful snails! I'll get some new blue ones within the month and I can only hope, they'll be as beautiful!
but I think you have at least two different specis:
Pomacea canaliculata (eggs on the last picture), is also know as trimmer
Pomacea Bridgesii, the first two pictures, the normal cana;
never the less, beauyfull snails!

Thanks for the compliments. I do own many brigs as well. I currently have blues, light striped purples, dark striped purples, goldens, ivories, wilds, burgundies and probably more that I'm forgetting. All the above photos are of the canas I swear! You will love your blues. They are such a neat color and hands down my favorite. |
