I am keeping a colony of N. heteropoda quite variable in colour patterns. I got a female (young yet) with an inussual dark/black pattern. I am thinking to remove it to another separte tank when she get eggs.

What do you think? would be a stable coloration??

Hi!!

Few monts ago i keep neocaridina heteropoda nominat, and white pearl shrimp's, this srimp are crossed and crossed n. heteropoda/white pearl looks the same as Your shrimp on this picture, i seperate this shrimps, but now i see some of young shrimp's looks like parents and some looks like white pearl.

Hi Xema,

my N. heteropoda look like your specimen sometimes. They're quite variable and have not been crossed with White Pearls. When kept with fish they turn totally black or dark brown, but unfortunately the color is not stable.

Have you separated your Sith shrimp? What results did you get?
