Hi all,

what are your shrimps' favorite plants?

Mine love their new Monosolenium tenerum clump. It's red with Cherries, I've never seen anything like that.

Other than that, they also like the marimos and the Java moss.

And the broad-leafed plants provide them with nice additional platforms where to sit.

Cheers
Ulli

Hi,

more plants have been added to the tanks:
Najas guadalupensis makes great hiding-places (and use lots of nutrients from the water, preventing algae growth),
Lilaeopsis brasiliense (grass plant) also provides good hiding-places and is great for scavenging for food that's been overlooked by the fish

Cheers
Ulli

Fissidens fontanus & Riccia are also favorites. I decided the riccia was way too much trouble and removed it though. I now have stargrass in it's place. Mine seem to like hanging in the shadows & leaves of my largest plant,an ozelot sword.
