    Default Doubt about Geosesarma sp.

    Hi friends:

I come to you looking for your knowledge. I thought crabs like genus Sesarma, Geosesarma, Metasesarma (etc. Sesarmidae) couldn't breed in a normal aquaterrarium conditions and all we see at shops come from the wild. Today I have found this pic in a german photoblog:

    http://krabbenphotoblog.de/index.php?showimage=303

It's suposed taken from an aquaterrarium. And so, the question is... Is it posible to breed them in a fresh or salty water conditions at home?

    Hi Isaac,

they are Geosesarma notophorum, and the carrying of the baby crabs is typical for them.
Geosesarma like the "Vampires are breedable.

Hi Heike and thanks a lot.

And so, what they need exactly, only freshwater ponds or high humidity? What is needed? Maybe I can take several of them soon...
