They and somer other creatures of the sea were the fund of my new... Last year I brought with me from my excursion to Croatia some peacock blennies. They and somer other creatures of the sea were the fund of my new mediterranean tank. It´s not heated nor lit, except by daylight. This winter temperature sunk to 5°C (41°F) Because nobody could tell me if I had to feed even at such low temperatures, I didn´t so as I do with fish outside. So a wrasse and three other fishes died. But it seems, that it was just for blennies. The cold hibernization was inition for mating. Especially the male got a mating outfit. Now I hope, they will reproduce, and I can rear them.
The last pic shows a snail sucking on a crab. Don´t know if it killed the crab or if it´s a carrion-eater.

The weather was fine, a lot of flowers were... Want to share some pix with you I got in front of my lens during I was in Greece with my wife. The weather was fine, a lot of flowers were florishing, only the sea was a bit cold (17°C/41°F) So I took only few under water photos. I was in the north-east on the middle finger of the peninsula Chalkidiki. We had from the one side a marvellous view on the holy mountain Athos and the monk republic, where no female being is admitted, and from the other side of Sithonia we saw the snow covered mount Olympus, the residence of the antique greek gods and goddesses.
